  • Nestlé opens N 5.4bn distribution centre in Agbara, Ogun State : Nestlé, the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company has inaugurated an ultra-modern Distribution Centre in Agbara, Ogun State. With an investment of N 5.42 billion, the new Distribution Centre is key to Nestlé’s growth in Nigeria and in Africa as a whole.
  • IFC invests in Indorama Eleme firm to boost fertiliser production : The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in a statement announced an investment in Nigeria-based Indorama Eleme Fertiliser & Chemicals. It said that the investment was to support the expansion  of the country’s largest fertiliser production facility.

  • Techno Oil Launches Gas Stove For Low Income Earners : As part of its “Going Green Revolution’’ initiative to promote cleaner environment in Nigeria, oil marketing company, Techno oil, has introduced an innovative cooking gas stove targeted at low income earners in Nigeria.

  • 340 NCE female students to receive N50,000 each as special scholarship in Katsina : The Katsina State Government, in collaboration with UNICEF, has started disbursing N65 million to 340 selected less-privileged NCE female students under its Girl-child Education programme (GEP) as special scholarship award. Each of the students will receive N50,000 every year up to the time she completes her NCE course.
  • Nigeria, Canada partner on youths?’ capacity building : In order to aid the capacity building of Nigerian youths through an international learning network, Canada?’s Minister of International Trade, Mr. Ed Fast, has reiterated the commitment of his country by establishing a Nigeria-Canadian relationship for pre-university students.
