  • Kebbi to build 400 housing units : Kebbi State Government has approved the release of N2.5 billion for the construction of 400 housing units in the Birnin Kebbi, state capital and Dakingari town.
  • Singapore To Build Skill Acquisition Centers In Nigeria : The Ambassador of Singapore to Nigeria, Mr. Shabbir Hassanhai said the establishment of skill acquisition centers in the 36 states of the federation will help curb crimes in the country .The Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund, Professor Longmas Wapmuk estimated that N4 billion will be required to establish 25 skill centers in order to properly harness the potentials of the nation’s youths.
  • Nigeria gets national HIV/AIDS centre : The Federal Government has launched a National HIV/ AIDS Resource Centre, a centre that will serve as a clearing house and repository of national and state level information on HIV/ AIDS and related health conditions.

  • FG sets up 800 more radio stations in Nigeria : Director General of National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mr. Mike Omeri, who disclosed this yesterday during briefing and strategy meeting organised by the Democratic Governance for Development Project, in collaboration with the Nigeria Community Radio Coalition, said the community radio stations would start transmission before the second quarter of this year.
