  • Indian firm to invest in Nigeria power sector : Indian’s power generation company, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited said it has concluded plans to invest in the Nigerian power sector. Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Heavy Industry, Dr. Sunatu Behuria, gave the hint during a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Power in Abuja.
  • EU , UN COMMIT €12M TO NIGERIA’S PRIVATE SECTOR : The European Union and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) have signed an Agreement of  €12 million Euro (N2.5 billion) to support Nigeria in improving quality infrastructure in the non-oil, productive sectors of the economy.
  • RSL to invest N200m in proposed mortgage refinancing company : Resort Savings & Loans’ (RSL) yesterday disclosed that it is set to invest N200 million in the Federal Government’s proposed Mortgage Refinancing Company (MRC), which will support mortgage originators-Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs) and Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) - to increase mortgage lending by refinancing their loan portfolios.
